Mazda 3 manual with 2.5 engine confirmed?

According to Automotive Fleet magazine it will be offered in the 2015 model. I've heard rumors this was going to happen, but this is the first time I've seen anything remotely "official."

Hope it's true!

I'd heard it too, but more as rumor or wishful thinking.

No doubt. It should be good for a 0-60 in under 7 seconds and 30+ mpg.
